Matthias W. Ries
CEO & Founder of EFFICIENTIO GMBH
Matthias Ries is a passionate entrepreneur. With the founding of EfficientIO GmbH, he laid the foundation for pioneering companies such as SAVEN GmbH, SmartSite Power GmbH and Efficientio Corporate GmbH. In addition to his central role as Group CEO, Matthias is currently also responsible for business development at SmartSite Power GmbH as CEO. His dedication and vision have been instrumental in the growth and success of these companies. His professional career is characterized by various senior positions, including an impressive track record at A1 Telekom Austria and his founding of Ventus Cloud AT GmbH. With a strong academic background, consisting of an HTL degree in electrical engineering, a degree in entrepreneurship and an MBA in international strategy and market development, Matthias is constantly driving innovation. He lives with his family in Vienna.
Friedrich Neubrand
COO
Friedrich “Fritz” Neubrand, COO of EfficientIO GmbH, brings an impressive combination of academic education and practical experience. After graduating from TGM Vienna in general mechanical engineering, he deepened his knowledge with a master’s degree in urban renewable energy at the FH Technikum Wien. Before joining EfficientIO, he made a significant contribution to the growth of a start-up that is now one of Austria’s leading renewable energy companies.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Fritz not only has entrepreneurial thinking in his blood, but also a broad network through his membership in Junge Industrie. He has a deep understanding of what entrepreneurs prioritize and how to build sustainable and successful customer relationships. He not only uses this knowledge in his main role as COO at EfficientIO, but also significantly for the operational business and the further development of SmartSite Power GmbH. Fritz lives and works in Vienna and appreciates the vibrant life of the capital.
Markus Schwarzmann
CTO
After graduating from the HTL for health technology in Mistelbach a.d. Zaya, Markus started his impressive career at A1 Telekom Austria AG. During his more than 9 years of work there, in particular as “Unified Communication Architect”, he gained valuable experience in the field of security and lifecycle management of one of the largest collaboration solutions in Europe. Today, as CTO of EfficientIO GmbH, he is responsible for the technological strategy, product development and infrastructure of all subsidiaries. In addition, Markus leads the company’s international development team and ensures that technology and innovation are always in harmony.

Sascha Doubek
CEO OF SAVEN GMBH & DIRECTOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING
Sascha Doubek combines expertise in digitization, digital product development and innovation management. Before joining EfficientIO, he served as Digital Transformation Lead at the Ottakringer Beverage Group. In addition, he distinguished himself at Kapsch BusinessCom through his key consulting role, in which he not only promoted the development of new business models, but also the conception and implementation of corporate ventures in the group environment. His experience was shaped by his time in management consulting in Hamburg and several master’s degrees in management, digital transformation & leadership and digital business. Today, as CEO of SAVEN, he drives the company’s vision while leading product development and marketing for the entire group. In addition to his professional success, Sascha is the proud father of a son and enjoys family life in Vienna.
